Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Educational Services industry, you’ll serve in schools providing targeted academic support and consistent mentorship to students. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you’ll collaborate with teachers to deliver small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and track student progress. At City Year, a national nonprofit focused on social justice and educational equity, you’ll join an inclusive, collaborative team committed to students’ success. This role offers hands-on experience in schools, leadership development, and professional growth through ongoing training and coaching, while making a meaningful impact on students and communities.
