Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve in public schools to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth. Working full-time on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring, assist teachers in classrooms, track student progress, and create a positive, inclusive learning environment. You’ll build strong relationships with students, model leadership, and help deliver whole-school initiatives. City Year offers robust training, coaching, and professional development, giving you hands-on experience in education, youth development, and social justice–focused service.
