Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a partner public school, providing small-group and one-on-one academic support in core subjects while building strong relationships with students. You will monitor progress, support classroom instruction, and reinforce positive behaviors to help students stay on track to graduate. In this collaborative, equity-focused role, you’ll work closely with teachers and a diverse AmeriCorps team, receive ongoing training and coaching, and grow your leadership and professional skills while making a measurable impact on student success.
