Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a partner public school, providing individualized and small-group academic support in core subjects, fostering students’ social-emotional skills, and promoting consistent attendance. You will collaborate closely with teachers to track progress, differentiate support, and create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment. In this AmeriCorps role, you’ll join a diverse, mission-driven team focused on educational equity, leadership development, and personal growth, while gaining professional training and hands-on experience in education.
