Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll work full-time in a partner public school to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth. You will provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring, assist teachers in the classroom, lead homework help and enrichment activities, and track student progress. You’ll build positive relationships, model leadership, and help create an inclusive, safe learning environment. At City Year, you’ll join a diverse, mission-driven team committed to social justice, receive ongoing training and coaching, and gain professional skills that prepare you for future roles in education, youth development, and beyond.
