Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full time in public schools to help students build academic skills, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging. In this role, you provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and support social-emotional learning. Working closely with teachers and a diverse team of AmeriCorps members, you’ll track student progress, participate in school-wide initiatives, and model leadership and inclusivity.
