Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve in public schools to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth. Working closely with teachers, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, monitor student progress, and help create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment. You’ll also mentor students, model positive behavior, and support attendance and homework routines. City Year offers training, coaching, and a collaborative team culture centered on social justice, leadership development, and personal and professional growth.
