The practice encompasses a broad range of bread-and-butter urology, including benign and oncologic conditions, stone disease, men's health, voiding dysfunction, and minimally invasive procedures. The successful candidate will enjoy teaching residents and medical students while pursuing scholarly activities that align with their professional interests and departmental priorities.

Community Information

Located on the Texas Gulf Coast, Galveston offers a unique blend of coastal living, historic charm, and academic opportunity. Residents enjoy miles of beaches, waterfront recreation, vibrant dining, arts and culture, and access to the greater Houston metropolitan area. Faculty may choose to live in Galveston or nearby communities such as League City and Clear Lake, which offer highly desirable residential neighborhoods, excellent amenities, and convenient access to UTMB facilities.

Facility Location

Tucked along the Gulf Coast region, Galveston is a hip beach town with plenty to keep you busy when not working. From the eclectic boutiques and galleries to the famed historic neighborhoods, people flock from all over the U.S. to visit the city’s sandy beaches. Stopover at Moody Gardens to see aquariums and other attractions, or visit the trendy area known as 'The Strand' for its yearly Mardi Gras celebration.
