Security Officer – Access Control & PatrolPoughkeepsie, NY | Multiple Schedules | $21.00/HourWe are currently seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to join our team at a high-profile commercial construction site in Poughkeepsie, NY.These positions offer opportunities in both access control/gate operations and security patrols. We are looking for officers who are reliable, professional, observant, and comfortable interacting with employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors.Pay: $21.00/hourWhat You'll DoDepending on your assigned post, responsibilities may include:Monitor and control access to the propertyVerify employees, contractors, vendors, and visitorsMonitor entry and exit pointsMaintain accurate visitor and access recordsConduct scheduled security patrolsMonitor site activity and identify potential security concernsRespond appropriately to incidents and emergenciesPrepare detailed daily activity and incident reportsEnforce site security policies and proceduresProvide professional customer service to employees, contractors, and visitorsMaintain a visible and professional security presenceCommunicate security concerns to site management and the security teamRequired QualificationsActive NYS Driver's LicenseClean driving recordHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredMust be willing to provide proof of educationValid NYS Security Guard License strongly preferredPrevious security, access control, construction site, corporate, or customer service experience is a plusStrong communication and observation skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to remain alert and attentive throughout the assigned shiftImportant Security License RequirementA valid NYS Security Guard License is strongly preferred.If you previously held a NYS Security Guard License that has expired, we cannot consider you for these positions, as the renewal/relicensing process may take approximately 3–4 months.Looking for a Reliable Security Opportunity?With multiple schedules available, this account offers opportunities for both part-time and full-time security professionals.If you are dependable, professional, and take pride in providing excellent security and customer service, we encourage you to apply today.#WPNYAbout UsMake an Impact at Securitas USASecuritas USA employees come from all walks of life, bringing a variety of skills, experiences, and perspectives.
