Access Specialist | Patient Services CoordinatorJoin a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region, dedicated to providing exceptional patient access and support. This role offers the opportunity to work within a vibrant public hospital district known for its critical access hospital and comprehensive emergency services, including Level IV trauma care and specialized cardiac and stroke centers.Job OverviewAs an Access Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth and efficient access to healthcare services. Your role is vital in facilitating patient registration, verifying insurance information, and coordinating appointments to enhance the patient experience.EducationA high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications in medical administration or patient access services are a plus.ExperiencePrevious experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient registration or front desk operations, is preferred.
