Job description
Account Activation SpecialistResponsible for sourcing, evaluating, onboarding, and activating new account opportunities to support Breakthru Beverage's growth objectives. This role executes go-to-market initiatives, coordinates new account setup and transitions, supports distributor and customer relationships, and drives distribution growth through a consistent and effective approach to account development and activation. The Account Activation Specialist will be supporting the Broward County area and some of Boca Raton.Job Responsibilities:Lead the execution of Breakthru Beverage's go-to-market strategy, including sourcing and opening new accounts, implementing consumer engagement strategies, achieving business objectives, building and maintaining distributor relationships, and driving new distribution opportunities throughout the assigned territory.Employ strategies that strengthen position to be the wholesaler of choice in the accounts opening.Lead activation of new accounts, selling in priority skus and in off-premise accounts, proper merchandising and cold box management.Coordinate with IT and Credit to ensure proper and timely set-up of all new accounts.Act as liaison for new account during set-up process and transition to assigned sales.Punch orders for new accounts during the transition to the assigned sales team.Manage and evaluate through Trade Development all promotional spending by account priority with regards to performance and implement corrective business building actions.Organize tasting and sales pitches to new on-premise accounts.Facilitate how we source, tag, and engage with all new accounts; a unified Breakthru Beverage approach.Manage the maintenance behind new account channel tagging.Conduct safe and responsible interactions with the public and responsibly handle beverage alcohol product. Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in Business PlanningProficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation softwareMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesAnalytic and Reporting skillsUtilize sound judgement and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Previous sales experienceTrade Marketing knowledge of On SaleProficient in use of social mediaPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate and operate a computer and telephone.Competencies:Accountable for results which impact the department.Selects best option from a set of defined procedures/ solutions using common sense and experience of similar situations.This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of this position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties.
