Role Description
The Account Director – Real Estate Public Relations is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role leads day-to-day client management for real estate accounts, including developing and executing PR and communications strategies, media outreach, and content development. The Account Director oversees campaign planning and implementation, manages timelines and deliverables, and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality client service. Responsibilities include guiding junior team members, nurturing client relationships, identifying opportunities for account growth, and supporting new business proposals and presentations. The role requires close collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated communications programs aligned with client objectives.
This position requires mandatory time in our New York City office, with additional hybrid remote days each week.
Salary: $90k to $100k depending on experience
Qualifications
Strong account management skills with experience overseeing multiple client relationships and coordinating ongoing PR initiatives.
Team management and team leadership abilities, including mentoring staff and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Sales and business development skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, contribute to proposals, and participate in pitches.
Project management expertise, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources across complex, multi-channel campaigns.
Demonstrated experience in real estate public relations or related industries (real estate, design, construction) is highly beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including media relations, press release writing, and client-facing presentations.
Ability to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
