Build and maintain a high-activity pipeline through consistent prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking)

Identify and target technology vendors, service providers, consulting firms, and B2B organizations that sell into CFOs and finance leaders

Run a full sales cycle—from outreach and discovery to pricing, contracting, and close—across short to mid-length sales timelines

Manage and grow existing accounts through renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and broader partnership opportunities

Hit weekly activity and pipeline targets and deliver against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals

Clearly communicate value and ROI using audience insights, demographics, engagement metrics, and past partner outcomes

Maintain accurate CRM records, manage pipeline stages, and forecast performance with consistency and discipline

Attend CFO Leadership events and select industry events to develop leads, set meetings, strengthen relationships, and close business as needed

Identify opportunities to upsell into larger sponsorships, branded activations, research, digital, thought leadership, or custom programs when there’s a clear fit

Qualifications:

7+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in event, sponsorship, media, conference, research, membership, or integrated marketing sales

Demonstrated ability to prospect hard, open doors, grow relationships, and close in a quota-driven environment

Experience selling sponsorships, media, event packages, or similar B2B offerings is strongly preferred

Proven success managing both new business and existing account growth

Comfortable with high-volume outbound; strong phone presence, confident cold calling, and persistent follow-up

Strong objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills
