Job description

Hi, we’re Conveyor 👋, creators of the #1 Customer Trust AI automation platform.

We solve problems that our customers “hate with the fury of 1000 suns” (actual quote!) - the dreaded customer security review and RFP processes. These are key parts of the B2B sales cycle, but both still involve too much time, effort, and mental anguish from those involved.

Enter Conveyor, where our mission is to eliminate all of the misery from B2B customer trust with maximum automation. We’ve made a lot of progress – we have an awesome customer list whose lives we’vesignificantly impacted through product, this year we launched the first AI agents for security reviews (Sue) and RFPs (Phil), and we just raised a $20M Series B from SignalFire and OVF! (TechCrunch) But we have ambitious goals and we’re looking for our next AE to help make them a reality!

The top 3 1/2 reasons you should be interested in working at Conveyor:

You’ll be selling a great product with a slam dunk AI use case while building sales processes and foundations to help scale the business.

Everyone on the team is amazing at their jobs. We care deeply aboutpsychological safety, and believe that the ability to take risks and exist in thelearning zone is critical to our success. This also comes with high accountability, which isn’t for everyone. But, you have the potential to have an outsize impact on the direction and success of the company.

We’re highly transparent and collaborative. Giving constructive, thoughtful feedback and asking hard questions are highly encouraged! We come together to figure it out when times are hard, and in celebration when we get our wins.

1/2. Plus, we’ll even teach you how to saber a bottle of champagne

About the Role

We’ve experienced the tremendous demand for generative AI and we’re looking for a new team member to join us and help prospects evaluate and purchase Conveyor. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you’ll play a critical role in building and optimizing our inbound sales process.

What you’ll do:

Manage a high volume inbound lead funnel and sales pipeline to hit and exceed quota

Conduct discovery calls to understand customer challenges and provide tailored demos

Guide customers through hands-on trials, develop business cases, and close deals

Collaborate with leadership to build and optimize a repeatable inbound playbook

Partner closely with our CS, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams–your customer learnings and feedback will be critical to the company and product roadmap

Provide coaching and mentorship to new team members

What we’re looking for:

2-4 years of closing experience in a fast growing software company

A track record of high achievement in current and previous roles hitting or exceeding quotas

Experience working with Mid-Market and/or Enterprise customers–you can navigate multiple stakeholders to get a deal done

Sales skills: You come prepared to meetings, build rapport, listen, ask great questions, and keep things moving forward with urgency

Work ethic: You are responsive, work hard, stay organized and things don’t slip thru the cracks

Enthusiasm: You’re passionate about building and are able to be real but also stay positive through adversity

Coachable: You want to improve and identify areas for your development and implement feedback quickly to improve

Collaboration: You share ideas and feedback to help others perform at their best

Adaptability: You adapt to changes quickly and are comfortable experimenting and testing new processes

The estimate for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is $220,000 per year. At Conveyor, we aim to pay in the 90% percentile of all companies of a similar size in the US.

Ready to join our team and have a tremendous impact? We’d love to hear from you. Also, we know it’s tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap. You don’t have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role.
