# Account ExecutiveSell operational software to the people who will run it every day, which means demonstrating it yourself and saying so when it is not the right fit.* Melville, New York · Hybrid* Full-time## What the work isTake our products to the operators who would use them — restaurants, retail, clinics, fleets — from the first conversation through demonstration and pricing to the handover to the people who take the site live. You will run the demonstrations yourself, which means knowing the software well enough to answer the question the slides do not cover.Because the same company builds, sells and supports these products, anything oversold in a meeting comes back to people sitting a few desks away. Telling a prospect we are not the right fit is a normal outcome here rather than a failure, and the pipeline is read with that in mind.## What we look forExperience selling software or systems to businesses that will operate them daily, and the patience for a cycle that involves the owner, the manager, and whoever actually rings up the orders. Comfort demonstrating a product live rather than describing one.Familiarity with hospitality, retail or healthcare operations counts for a great deal.
