About the client

The client is a fast-growing, founder-led SaaS platform, based in Austin, TX, that helps nonprofits run fundraising events, manage donors, and grow revenue. More than 1,500 nonprofits use our software for events, CRM, memberships, volunteers, grants, and email marketing.

They are bootstrapped, profitable, and built by people who've worked inside nonprofits, not just sold software to them.

The Role

We're hiring an Account Executive who wants to build a sales career fast. This is a full-cycle closing role: you'll own your deals from first conversation to signed contract.

Your pipeline comes from three places, in roughly equal parts:

About a third from marketing: inbound leads, demo requests, and webinar and content sign-ups

About a third from existing opportunities: open deals and past conversations that are ready for a fresh push

About a third that you go out and get: your own prospecting, outreach, and follow-up

On top of that, you'll work deals referred by our partners and customers.

Our sales cycle is fast, typically under a month, which means a high volume of conversations and a lot of chances to close every month. You'll sell the full platform: Events, CRM, memberships, volunteers, grants, and email marketing.

You'll start out working alongside our Senior Account Executive, learning the product, the pitch, and our customers, and then report directly to our CEO. If you hit your numbers, there's a clear and fast path to Senior Account Executive.

What You'll Do

Run full-cycle sales with nonprofit prospects: discovery, demo, proposal, and close

Prospect every day by phone, email, and LinkedIn to build your own pipeline, not just wait for leads

Follow up fast on inbound leads from marketing and turn interest into booked demos

Re-engage existing and stalled opportunities and move them to a decision

Work referrals from our partners and customers with speed and care

Deliver demos that speak the language of development directors, executive directors, and event committees

Keep your pipeline, activity, and forecast accurate and up to date in HubSpot

Hand off closed customers smoothly to our Account Management team

Share what you're hearing from prospects so we can sharpen our product, messaging, and playbook

What We're Looking For

Hungry and competitive. You want to win, you track your numbers, and a result-focused comp plan excites you

Some sales experience. 2 years of SaaS sales (SDR, BDR, or AE) is preferred

Comfortable picking up the phone. Outbound prospecting is a real part of this job, and you're willing to do it every day

Consultative, not scripted. You ask good questions, listen, and connect what you hear to how the product helps

Coachable and fast-learning. You take feedback well, apply it quickly, and get better every week

A self-starter who thrives remotely. You manage your own time and pipeline without needing someone looking over your shoulder

Understanding of nonprofits and fundraising is a plus but not required. We're hiring a great salesperson, and we'll teach you the nonprofit world.
