We are recruiting for a well-established national distributor of health, first aid, and medical supplies serving schools (including school nurses), municipal facilities, and community-based organizations. They have built a strong reputation for quality products, personalized service, and competitive pricing. This is an excellent entry point into B2B distribution and commercial sales for an early-career B2B sales professional looking to build a long-term career in the industry.
Role Structure
This is a hybrid inside/outside sales role. The rep typically spends three to four weeks in inside sales, working the phones and managing accounts, followed by about one week traveling to meet customers in person across Texas. The schedule varies with business needs.
Responsibilities
Drive outbound activity — approximately 250 calls per week — to grow and retain the customer base
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through close
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers
Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and solution proposals, both by phone and in person
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales activity
Qualifications
1–3 years of B2B sales experience
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Experience in outbound prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar)
Willingness to travel to Texas for about one week every four to five weeks
