We're looking for a results-driven Account Executive to join a fast-growing technology company transforming the way cities manage traffic and transportation infrastructure.
This is an opportunity to own a strategic sales territory, build long-term relationships with government agencies, and introduce intelligent transportation solutions that improve traffic efficiency and road safety.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies.
- Build relationships with state, county, and municipal transportation authorities.
- Develop and manage distribution and channel partnerships.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
- Lead government procurement opportunities, including RFPs and RFIs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events.
- Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and sales pipeline reporting.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience selling Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to government agencies.
- At least 2 years of technical or solution-based sales experience.
- Proven experience in territory development and channel partner management.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, independence, and a results-driven approach.
- Availability to travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory.
