Overview
Shining 3D is a world-class technology company offering 3D digital solutions with offices in China and Germany, and U.S..; Shining 3D’s technology spans cover every 3D imaging process and technology with innovative solutions, including: 3D scanning, reverse engineering, inspection, styling, design, analysis, digital manufacturing, and health care applications.
Shining 3D has developed and sells, both directly and indirectly, 3D scanners, photogrammetry systems and 3D printers.
Responsibilities
Generate sales revenues by performing product demonstrations at selected customer sites and evaluate customer requirements, including installation location, mounting requirements, customer engineering drawings, CAD/CAM data, inspection plans and rapid prototyping requirements.
Develop a complete and expert knowledge of Shining 3D’s hardware and software products to demonstrate products to key individuals and organizations for marketing and sales purposes (trade shows, engineering associations, etc.).
Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels.
Utilize all available resources including sales management, Inside Sales Specialists, Applications Engineers, marketing and others to advance and close sales.
Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities, processes and systems.
Act as point of contact and provide technical support to potential customers during the evaluation period.
Effectively communicate recommendations for hardware and software changes to Applications Engineers and R&D as requested by customers.
Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales performance goals as required.
Requirements
Knowledge of CAD.
Ability to work independently, travel extensively within the territory.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Surveying and Mapping Engineering and Vehicle Engineering strongly preferred or related engineering degree.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
3D scanner, lasers and quality control, familiarity with 3D productions and industrial measurement, experience selling 3D related products is a strong plus.
Demonstrated ability to isolate and identify technical problems, formulate and demonstrate solutions.
