Overview
Multi-Housing Depot (MHD) is hiring an Account Manager to play a mission-critical role in the DC & Northern Virginia multifamily renovation market. In this role, you’ll drive revenue growth and strengthen long-term client relationships—owning the full client journey from onboarding to expansion, while ensuring projects are executed with excellence.
What You’ll Do
Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets; maintain a 3x pipeline coverage ratio with ~30% close rate
Conduct client needs assessments, create proposals, and negotiate contracts.
Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours and maintain >4.5/5 satisfaction scores
Partner cross-functionally with Design, Distribution, Customer Success, and Accounting teams
Conduct site visits & measurements (cabinets, countertops, appliances, doors, windows)
Track activities in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) and analyze data to drive growth
Represent MHD at client meetings, site visits, and industry events
100% Active Accounts retention
Maintain healthy pipeline activity (3x coverage, 30% close rate)
Consistently cross-sell/upsell across accounts
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent experience in B2B account management
2+ years of proven success in account management, client success, or sales (construction or multifamily industry preferred)
Hands-on experience using measuring tools (tape measure, laser) and interpreting basic site/renovation plans
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read plans, measure accurately, and assess installation readiness
Willingness to travel within the DC & Northern Virginia territory for client meetings and site visits
Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and working safely on active construction sites with PPE
