Summary
You are an experienced, solution-oriented hospitality professional in Orange County, CA, who enjoys working on a team as you identify and design DMC services for corporate and incentive programs in Southern California.
You will work closely with our Director of Sales to promote the services of the company to key industry associates, prospect for new client opportunities, and present creative and targeted ideas based on each client’s program objectives and vision. You will work directly with high-value clients and hotel partners to bring program ideas to life. You’ll use your destination knowledge to recommend local activities, venues, and event experiences while providing creative solutions to challenges that arise during the design and initial planning stages. Strong communication skills, confidence in client-facing conversations, and the ability to turn ideas into actionable program solutions are essential to this role.

The scope of responsibilities will include:
Collaborative interactions with area hospitality partners and potential clients.
Hotel interactions demonstrating and cultivating strong partnerships for shared clients
Site Visit organization and execution for visiting Clients
Outline potential Client programs under direction of DOS
-vendor selection, costing parameters, creative vision (if you know how to design your own
proposals, even better.)
Move initially outlined programs to commitment and contracting
Budget revisions and updates for committed programs as required
Ongoing client relationship building to foster continued commitment to Eventis
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of event planning experience or destination management experience, and be comfortable working directly with client planners. You’ll bring strong communication, time management, and budgeting skills, along with a proactive, solutions-focused approach. You’re creative, adaptable, and comfortable shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of client service. Knowledge of the Southern California market is a plus.
You are self-motivated, self-sufficient, and resourceful with a positive outlook on life and business.
You enjoy working with evolving projects and timelines and approach these with determination and a sense of humor.
You are both a collaborator and an independent worker
You have good communication and interpersonal skills and have successfully worked in business environments with multiple team members
You are very organized, with great attention to detail, and can manage, progress, and deliver on multiple projects and priorities under deadlines and other time pressures
You are proficient with Microsoft Office and might offer input on the use of other project management systems and ideas.
You are willing to work in an office, and in the field (area of program operation) as each project dictates.
You can drive to and from program locations and can lift to 30 lbs. of office or program components if required.
