Role: Account Manager – Enterprise Hardware
Location: Remote / Hybrid (United States)
Package : $80k-$100k base + OTE
Type: Full-Time
The Lowdown
Look, we could write a standard, mind-numbing job description about \"synergizing portfolio paradigms,\" but we’d both fall asleep. Here’s the real talk: We are recruiting on behalf of a long-standing, heavy-hitting player in the IT infrastructure space, and they need a sharp, relationship-first Account Manager to step in and take care of an existing, high-value client portfolio.
No ruthless cold-calling from a phone book from 1998. No pounding the pavement for cold leads. Your job is to keep our client’s existing customer base ridiculously happy, spot hidden growth opportunities, and make sure their data centers never go hungry.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
Nurturing the Flock: Taking ownership of a mature enterprise client portfolio for our client and giving them white-glove service (with a touch of technical swagger).
Reading Between the Rack Units: Understanding your clients' infrastructure roadmaps so well that you predict their hardware needs before their fans even spin up.
Expanding the Footprint: Identifying organic upselling and cross-selling opportunities without being that pushy salesperson.
Solving the Puzzle: Working alongside our client's logistics, engineering, and sales ops teams to make sure orders arrive on time, on spec, and without drama.
What We Need From You (The Non-Negotiables)
5+ Years in IT Hardware Sales: You know the difference between enterprise servers, networking, and standard enterprise components. You’ve been around the rack a few times.
US-Based & Battle-Tested: You know how to manage business across US time zones with responsiveness and poise.
A Memory & Storage Advantage: If you hear terms like DDR5, NVMe, PCIe Gen 5, or enterprise SSDs and your eyes don't glaze over - huge bonus points. You don't need to be the lead engineer, but knowing what keeps servers running fast and reliable will make you an absolute rockstar in this role.
Relationship Master: People actually like answering your phone calls and opening your emails.
