Account Opening Associate - Wealth Management

Job description

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with international/foreign accounts, financial services operations, KYC, or client onboarding and must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

Review and process new international client accounts, including individual, corporate, institutional, and complex ownership structures.

Review account documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Process updates and maintenance requests for existing international accounts.

Work with AML/KYC, Compliance, Legal, and Tax teams to resolve documentation or account issues.

Review international corporate structures and beneficial ownership information.

Support branch personnel with international account opening requirements and documentation.

Research and resolve account discrepancies or documentation exceptions.

Monitor reports related to new and existing international accounts.

Respond to account inquiries and provide timely operational support.

Maintain accurate account records in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in financial services operations, account onboarding, or new accounts, specifically involving international/foreign accounts.

Experience with international client onboarding, due diligence, or compliance.

Knowledge of AML/KYC, beneficial ownership, and international account documentation requirements.

Experience reviewing corporate accounts and complex ownership structures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively with Operations, Compliance, AML, Legal, and other internal teams.

Bilingual English/Spanish required, including the ability to review documentation in both languages.
