Account Receivable ClerkExperienced Accounts Receivable Clerk needed in Phoenix, AZ. This client specializes in gaskets, pipes, valves, fittings, and filters for industrial companies.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Account Receivable Clerk Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 25.00 to $ 35.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)Responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and provides professional customer service regarding billing and payment inquiries.Prepare and send customer invoices and statements.Post and accurately record customer payments.Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.Contact customers regarding past-due invoices and payment status.Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.Research and resolve payment and account issues.Maintain accurate and organized accounts receivable records. Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.Prepare accounts receivable reports as needed.Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments.Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.Account Receivable Clerk Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework is a plus. 1+ year of accounts receivable or accounting experience requiredBasic understanding of accounting principles.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong communication and customer service skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Experience with accounting or ERP software is preferred.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
