Job description
La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, La Clinica has provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. nJob Summary:
nUnder general supervision, performs standard accounting functions such as ledger maintenance, cost analysis, reconciliation, posting, and inventory control. Analyzes financial and operating data and prepares management reports. Maintains records of routine accounting transactions and fixed assets list. Assists in preparation of financial and operating reports.
nCore Competencies:
nnnWorking knowledge of federal and state financial regulations including applicable changes

nnWorking knowledge of finance, basic accounting practices, principles, and Fund Accounting
n
nnKnowledge of the contracting process and associated local, government and other regulations
n
nnWorking knowledge of contract and grant management
n
nnKnowledge of spreadsheet software to quantify and illustrate complex financial reports and similar reports
n
nnDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate accounting information in a manner
n
nneasily understood by the customer
n
nnKnowledge of computerized information systems used in financial or accounting applications
n
nnExcellent account balancing and reconciling skills
n
nnKnowledge of public accounting policies, standards and procedures
n
nnExcellent interpersonal, communication and team playing skills
n
nnSelf-initiative and adaptability
n
nnHigh attention to detail and high degree of organization
n
nnBasic understanding of computers, Windows, etc. and a variety of Spreadsheet programs; knowledge of Abila & Microixl.

n nJob Requirements:
nnBachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college; additionally, one to three years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified is preferred
