Job description
Our client, a leading organization in the industry sector, is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

nPay Range: $25-$29/hr
nDuration: 6 months
nWhat's the Job?
nnnPrepare, monitor, and record business transactions, including intercompany transactions, accruals, account reconciliations, and roll forwards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
n
nnAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements through accurate journal entries and financial data management.
n
nnSupport the accounting close process by ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
n
nnConduct technical accounting research and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
n
nnCollaborate with internal teams such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Legal, and Customer Support to resolve accounting and control matters effectively.
n
n nWhat's Needed?
nnnBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
n
nn2-4 years of relevant accounting experience-- Accounts receivable (invoicing, collections, reconciliations), with familiarity in U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
n
nnProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or similar systems preferred.
n
nnStrong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile data and interpret variances.
n
nnExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
