Our client, a rapidly growing business based in the Chicago area, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, evolving company where your contributions will directly support financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general ledger reconciliations and support month-end close processes
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and accurate financial reports in compliance with IFRS
Maintain and manage the fixed assets register
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy
Support internal and external audit processes
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and enhanced reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
3+ years of relevant accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
