Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our property management team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly by overseeing day-to-day AP/AR functions, vendor management, and supporting contract compliance. This role is on-site in Secaucus, NJ.

What You’ll Do
Manage accounts payable on a weekly basis, processing 20–30 invoices
Handle accounts receivable on a monthly cycle (approx. 40 statements)
Monitor contract compliance and budget adherence across properties
Follow up with vendors on insurance certificates and required documentation
Assist with maintenance contract renewals
Support the team with general administrative tasks related to property finances
Must-Haves
Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting or Accounts Payable/Receivable
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
Nice-to-Haves
Experience using MRI and Nexus (or similar financial software)
Background in real estate or property management
Tools We Use
MRI Software – Property management and accounting
Nexus – Invoice and payment processing
