Accountant
Join our dynamic team as an Accountant and play a vital role in managing complex financial operations within the investment industry. This position offers the opportunity to supervise accounting activities, provide expert financial guidance to clients, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting for diverse investment structures. Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5 to 7 years of experience in the alternative investments industry, including fund audits at a fund, administrator, or public accounting firm
Solid understanding of general accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Familiarity with daily accounting activities and financial statement reviews
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven leadership, team management, and organizational abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Experience with Advent applications and Confluence financial reporting platform
In-depth understanding of portfolio accounting and investment management
CPA certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
Extensive experience in the alternative investments sector, including fund operations or audits
Other Requirements:
Ability to perform daily accounting tasks in accordance with accepted procedures
Attention to detail and problem-solving acumen
Ability to adapt to evolving client needs and business strategies
Willingness to contribute to process improvements and risk mitigation

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $62.00 to $67.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
