Experienced Accountant
G.A. Johnson Construction, a well established Construction Management and Design Build company is seeking an experienced accountant. Successful candidate must have five years history of successful performance in a similar position. This position is located in Harrisburg, SD. We are a professional building service company providing Design/Build, Construction Management, and General Contracting around South Dakota and the upper Midwest. Full Time M-F: Benefits after 90 days include health/dental/vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, 401K.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
Account Receivable
Payroll
Monthly Financial Statements
Assist in year end annual audits
Requirements:
Experience in accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration
Solid understanding of accounting principles and applications
Experience and knowledge of payroll principles and applications, tax reporting requirements
Ability to organize and communicate effectively (both verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
Five(5) or more years of accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration
Experience with Sage accounting software a plus
Working experience with MS Office, Excel, Word
Excellent written or oral skills
