We are assisting a client in their search for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our accounting team. Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Enter and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and deposits
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Review financial records for accuracy and identify discrepancies
Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations
Maintain organized and confidential financial documentation
Assist with financial reporting and basic accounting analysis
Respond to vendor and internal questions regarding accounting transactions
Support the accounting team with various administrative and financial tasks
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
Recent graduates and candidates with internship or relevant coursework are encouraged to apply
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Experience with accounting software is a plus
