About Our Client
I'm currently partnered with a multi-million-dollar manufacturing organization near Naperville, Illinois, that is looking to add an Accountant to its growing team.
Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration with C-suite executives. The Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business unit, including month-end close activities, accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash flow monitoring, treasury-related functions, and financial reporting.
This opportunity provides strong hands-on experience, high visibility within the organization, and the ability to take on increasing responsibilities as the company continues to grow. Job Description
Accountant Responsibilities: Support the Accounting Manager on day to day accounting functions.
Support the month end process.
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
Review AR and follow up on outstanding balances.
Review the balance sheet and P&L to ensure accounts are accurate and properly classified.
Monitor cash flow and treasury needs to ensure sufficient cash is available.
Perform account reconciliations and assist with journal entries.
Handle ad hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed.
Provide general support across the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other accounting credentials are a plus
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Prior experience within a manufacturing environment is required
Self-motivated and career-driven individual with a strong desire to learn and grow
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to work
