Job description
The Accountant performs routine accounting tasks associated with centralized corporate operations. Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records for the organization in accordance with GAAP principles and SEC regulations.

nResponsibilities:
nnnAssist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycle closings
n
nnPerform financial statement review
n
nnPerform account analysis and reconciliations
n
nnResearch and correct account discrepancies
n
nnPrepare and post journal entries
n
nnProvide audit support
n
nnAssist various teams with financial analysis and accounting tasks
n
nnEnsure financial records comply with company policies and accounting principles
n
nnAnalyze data to support business decision-making
n
n nEducation and/or Experience
nnnBachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred
n
nnMinimum 2 years general ledger accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
n
nnSAP experience preferred
n
nnAdvanced skillset with Microsoft Excel
n
n nOther Skills and Abilities Required
nnnAbility to communicate effectively

nnAbility to write routine reports and correspondence
n
nnAbility to apply reason and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

nnAbility to identify and analyze problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations and formulate the appropriate solutions.

nnFollow required Company policies and procedures which include but are not limited to policies regarding conduct, record keeping, and safety.

nnIt is required that the individual is accurate with good time management and organizational skills
