nThe Accounting Manager leads the day-to-day accounting operations and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role partners closely with operations, supply chain, production, and executive leadership to deliver financial insights that support strategic and operational business objectives. The Accounting Manager oversees the monthly close process, inventory and cost accounting activities, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting support, and the development of accounting staff in a growing, evolving organization.
nResponsibilities
nnnLead and manage the day-to-day accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

nnOversee the monthly close process, including preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements.
n
nnManage inventory accounting and standard costing activities to ensure accurate cost of goods sold and inventory valuation.
n
nnEnsure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
n
nnPartner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to provide financial insights that support operational decision-making.
n
nnCollaborate with executive leadership to provide financial analysis that supports strategic business objectives.
n
nnSupport budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data, variance analysis, and recommendations.
n
nnMaintain compliance with internal policies and external financial reporting requirements.
n
nnDevelop, mentor, and support accounting staff to enhance their skills and performance.
n
nnIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
n
n nEssential Skills
nnnBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
n
nn5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
n
nn2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
n
nnManufacturing industry experience.
n
nnStrong understanding of GAAP.
n
nnExperience with inventory accounting.
n
nnExperience with standard costing.
n
nnExperience with financial reporting.
n
nnAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.
n

nThis is a Contract position based out of Osseo, MN.
nPay and Benefits
nThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
nIndividual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
