Job description
City Wide Facility Solutions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the finance department to help drive business decisions.
nAs part of our team, you will contribute to maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
nKey Responsibilities:
nnnMaintain and update financial records and ledgers.
n
nnPrepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
n
nnProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
n
nnReconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
n
nnAssist in budget preparation and forecasting.
n
nnSupport month-end and year-end closing activities.
n
nnCollaborate with other departments to facilitate financial audits.
n
nnEnsure compliance with GAAP, local, and federal financial regulations.
n
n nRequirements
nnnBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
n
nnMinimum 2 years of practical accounting experience.
n
nnProficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
n
nnStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
n
nnExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.
n
nnStrong organizational and time-management skills.
n
nnAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
n
nnEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.
