nJob Description
nWe are looking for an Accountant to manage end-to-end client billing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual agreements. This position will be a contract and remote .
nDue to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
nWhat You'll Do
nnnManage end-to-end client billing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual agreements
n
nnPerform billing reconciliation and funding settlements, resolving discrepancies and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
n
nnMonitor and support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-up
n
nnPartner with clients and internal teams to resolve billing issues and disputes in a professional and timely manner
n
nnAssist in developing and implementing new processes and workflows, particularly in support of a growing or evolving function
n
nnMaintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies
n
nnPrepare and analyze account reconciliations, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
n
nnContribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations
n
nnCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure alignment and data integrity
n
nnAssist with audit support, providing documentation and explanations as needed
n
n nWhat You'll Need
nRequired:
nnnBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
n
nn3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations
n
nnStrong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting practices
n
nnExperience in insurance, billing operations, or accounting environments
n
nnProven ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently
n
nnExperience working in process development or continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in new or evolving roles
n
nnProficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
n
n nPreferred:
nnnStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and organization
n
nnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
n
nnAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

nnDemonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

nnFamiliarity with banking, treasury functions, or cash management is a plus

n nPhysical Demands

n$37-$41 per hour
nThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
