Job description
Accounting Position Duties
You will perform professional accounting, financial analysis, reporting, and advisory functions.
You will provide professional accounting advice, guidance, and technical assistance on financial matters, including General Ledger accounting, financial statement analysis, Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness, and strategic performance metrics.
You will examine, analyzes, and prepares financial records, cost transactions, and financial statements.
You will conduct extensive cost and financial reviews, business studies, and specialized projects to recommend methods to improve the efficiency of work processes and operational applications.
You will research and provide authoritative advice to management concerning public laws and regulatory guidelines, including the FIAR Guidance, the Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA), and the Chief Financial Officers (CFO) Act.
