nWhat You’ll Do:
nnnSupport revenue recognition, internal controls, and management reporting in compliance with GAAP and corporate policies
n
nnAnalyze inventory usage and purchasing variances; partner closely with Operations to identify root causes
n
nnReconcile inventory subledger to the general ledger and recommend COGS adjustments as needed
n
nnPrepare period cost reserves, excess & obsolete (E&O) analyses, and related journal entries
n
nnPerform monthly account reconciliations and prepare quarterly financial variance explanations
n
nnLead and participate in quarterly and annual audits, tax packs, surveys, and physical inventory counts
n
nnContribute to special projects focused on process improvement, efficiency, and profitability
n
n nWhat You Need:
nnnBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
n
nn10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment
n
nnStrong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation and analysis
n
nnExperience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and internal controls
n
nnFamiliarity with government contract compliance, FAR, and CAS regulations (preferred)
n
nnExperience with Deltek Costpoint, TM1, and OneStream (a plus)
n
nnAbility and willingness to work onsite full-time in Thousand Oaks, CA
n
nnU.S. Citizenship required due to facility access and work restrictions

nSalary Range:
n$77,900.00-$103,800.000
nThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
