Accounting AdministratorGeorge J. Igel & Co., Inc. Reports to: Accounts Payable Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week Job Location: 3500 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, OH 43207 - This position is primarily in personGeneral Overview: The Accounting Administrator will provide support to the Accounting & Finance team specifically by assisting the Accounts Payable team. This person should demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership.Responsibilities:Assist the Accounts Payable department with: Processing incoming A/P mail and emailProcessing invoices and obtaining the proper approvalsProcessing supporting documentation for invoicesPreparing, stuffing, and mailing weekly check runsReconciling vendor statementsProcessing Truck TicketsCorporate Credit Card AdministrationKnows and adheres to all Company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedThis list is non-exhaustive. Job responsibilities may vary based on operational needs and the instructions of the employee's supervisorQualifications:Currently pursuing or have completed a two- or four-year undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related programMust successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. Igel & Co., Inc. is a SUPR Drug-Free Workplace and tests for marijuana)Must be at least 18 years oldMust have access to reliable transportation and an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) that satisfies the Company's insurance requirementsMust be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement upon hireKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Candidate must be comfortable working in a paperless environment and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
