Accounting Associate PositionNew Pig is searching for an Accounting Associate! We're seeking a reliable and precise professional to join our team. We are seeking a candidate who can: work with our accounting and service department, respond to internal and external customer inquiries, work at a fast pace with rapidly changing technology, and more. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager.Responsibilities:Accounts receivable payment application and discrepancy resolutionsAccounts receivable customer communications (collections and customer inquiries)Accounts receivable billing for online customer portalsProvide superior customer service internally and externallyNavigating through different financial systems throughout the dayAssist in special projects and other various accounting operations duties on an as-needed basisProvides full backup administration for other accounting personnel in a specific functional area (e.g. AR, AP) when neededAll other duties as assignedQualifications:Associate's degree in accounting, finance or related major required. Bachelor's degree is highly desired.Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and proceduresStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesPersonable, eager, quick learner, and adaptableAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work and communicate effectively, both orally and written, with department leaders and peersProficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Windows and Office, especially Word and ExcelNew Pig is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
