Rebel Athletic Accounting ClerkThe Accounting Clerk supports the day-to-day accounting operations at Rebel Athletic by handling data entry, transaction processing, and basic account reconciliation tasks. This role ensures accuracy and consistency in financial records while assisting the accounting team with reporting and administrative functions. The position is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while building foundational accounting skills.Key ResponsibilitiesInput financial data and transactions into accounting systems accurately and timelyProcess invoices, receipts, and other financial documentsMaintain and update accounting records and spreadsheetsAccounts Payable and Receivable SupportAssist with vendor invoice processing and payment trackingSupport accounts receivable functions including payment application and trackingHelp resolve discrepancies related to invoices and paymentsReconciliations and ReportingAssist with account reconciliations and identifying discrepanciesSupport preparation of monthly financial reports and schedulesMaintain organized documentation for financial recordsAdministrative and Team SupportProvide general administrative support to the accounting teamAssist with audit preparation and documentation as neededSupport special projects and ad hoc tasksRequired Qualifications1 to 2 years of accounting or administrative experience in a similar role, with similar dutiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and office softwareExposure to accounts payable or accounts receivable processesExperience in a fast-paced or high-volume environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksStrong communication skillsPreferred QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experienceExperience with accounting or ERP systemsCompensation Range$48,000 - $55,000Benefits HighlightsPaid Time Off (PTO)Company-paid holidays available immediately upon hireAnnual discretionary bonus opportunityMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance coverageVoluntary benefit options including supplemental life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and additional coverages401(k) plan with company matchBenefit eligibility and effective dates are based on company policy and plan requirements.Working ConditionsOn-site work schedule based in Carrollton, TexasFull-time role with standard business hours and occasional additional time during peak periodsPrimarily desk-based work involving prolonged periods of sitting and computer useFrequent use of spreadsheets, accounting systems, and multiple monitorsRequires strong attention to detail and sustained focusRegular interaction with Finance team members and cross-functional departmentsEqual Employment Opportunity StatementRebel Athletic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
