Job description
Accounting ClerkWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to quickly step in and support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role will assist with transactional accounting tasks, ensuring financial data is accurate, up to date, and properly documented.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable activity.Assist with data entry, invoice processing, and payment posting with a high degree of accuracy.Reconcile bank statements and support account reconciliations.Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.Respond to internal and external inquiries related to billing, payments, and account activity.Assist with month-end close tasks, including preparing schedules and supporting documentation.Support the accounting team with administrative and transactional tasks during peak periods.
