Accounting ClerkJones Petroleum / JP Capital Insurance Inc.Full-time Salary: Based on experience and highly competitiveON PREMISE position – main corporate offices located in Jackson, GeorgiaBenefits for Qualified Applicants:A competitive starting wageMost rewarding 401(k) retirement plan in the Industry!Medical / Dental / Supplemental InsurancePaid Time Off5 day work weekPaid weeklyWe are a privately owned COMMUNITY ORIENTED company.Our Team Members put CUSTOMER SERVICE as their 1st PRIORITY!Our Team Members are team players and work well with their team including being engaged and displaying pleasant and enthusiastic attitude.All Team Members are treated fairly with dignity and respect.Jones Petroleum is in the process of interviewing candidates for an Accounting Clerk position for Jackson, GA office.This a forty (40) hour a week position with benefits.Responsibilities and DutiesPrepare and record daily depositsMaintain A/R accounts and review for delinquencyEnter invoices and pay vendorsAssist in month end processingPrepare and distribute monthly customer statementsAssist in Balance Sheet and bank reconciliationsSetup and maintain customer accountsRequirements and QualificationsHigh School Diploma is a mustMust have 3-5 or more years' experience in accounting, with excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers.Detail orientedProficient in ExcelTeam PlayerPeachtree/Sage experience is a plusGood organization skillsNote: This company participates in the E-verify program. This positions is subject to a 90 day introductory period. This introductory period is designed, primarily, to give both the Company and the employee an opportunity to determine whether the employee will be able to adequately perform in the assigned job position. At the end of the introductory period, your performance will be reviewed and a decision made regarding your continued employment or any extended introductory period. All employees are hired as temporary employees until their introductory period has elapsed. Temporary employees are not eligible for any benefits during the introductory period.Physical requirements include: ability to walk and stand continuously, ability to seat for long periods of time and perform repetitive movements; lift up to 60 lbs., bend, stoop, and climbing a ladder is required on occasion.
