Accounting ClerkLOCATION: Jupiter, FLSTATUS: Hourly Non-ExemptJob SummaryThe essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:Accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices.Prepares payment proposalsResponds to supplier/vendor inquiriesApplies procedures and escalates issues which do not follow standard treatment/posting rulesVerifies calculations, checks, allocates codes, and obtains correct authorizationsContacts internal/external resources to obtain missing, incorrect or incomplete documents.Other duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsEducation & TrainingAssociate Degree in Accounting or Finance related fieldBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred3+ years of related accounting experience if no degree obtainedMust complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM's EHS Training MatrixSkills/ExperienceStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel proficiency required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with significant deadlines.Ability to multitask.Accounts Payable, and General Ledger experience preferred.Experience working with SAP or other ERP system preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
