Job description
Accounting Coordinator - Fully Remote Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support a high-volume, multi-entity accounting environment with operations across the U.S. and Europe. This is a fully remote, hands-on opportunity with broad exposure to bank reconciliations, AP, AR, cash applications, payroll support, and general accounting.
Key Responsibilities Bank Reconciliations & General Accounting
Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for six bank accounts
Manage high-volume accounting entries and postings
Support month-end close activities
Process transactions in both USD and Euros
Perform account clean-up and research discrepancies
Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
Accounts Receivable
Process and apply cash receipts
Support order-to-cash workflows
Track customer payments and maintain AR accuracy
Research and resolve payment discrepancies
Accounts Payable
Process bill payments and vendor transactions
Ensure timely and accurate AP processing
Assist with vendor account reconciliations as needed
Payroll Support
Pull and verify employee hours from VMS systems to support payroll processing
Review payroll-related information for accuracy
Identify and escalate discrepancies as needed
Cross-Functional Support
Collaborate with internal teams across U.S. and European operations
Assist with accounting projects and process improvements
Support additional accounting functions as needed
Qualifications 2+ years of accounting experience, including AP, AR, cash applications, and bank reconciliations
Hands-on NetSuite experience is required
Experience working in a high-volume accounting environment
Understanding of foreign currency transactions, particularly EUR/USD
Strong Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fully remote environment
Payroll or VMS experience is a plus
