nAre you a detail-oriented student looking to gain real-world experience in accounting and finance? Fair-Rite Products Corp., a global leader in ferrite technology and manufacturing, is seeking a motivated Accounting & Finance Intern to join our team and gain hands-on exposure to the financial side of a dynamic manufacturing organization.
nDays and Hours:
nHours can be somewhat flexible based on school schedule; +/- 20 hours per week.
nBenefits for Full Time Employees:
nnnSalary Range: $18.90/hr - $20.89/hr dependant on experience

n nResponsibilities
nnnAssist with accounts payable, including reviewing invoices for proper documentation, matching invoices to purchase orders/receipts, and preparing items for payment. Assist with accounts receivable, including applying customer payments, researching discrepancies, and reviewing aging reports.
n
nnPerform account reconciliations, including selected general ledger accounts, bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance-sheet accounts.
n
nnAssist with month-end closing activities, including preparing supporting schedules and gathering documentation for journal entries.
n
nnReview and organize supporting documentation for financial transactions to ensure records are complete and properly maintained.
n
nnAssist with inventory accounting, including reviewing inventory transactions, cycle-count results, adjustments, and supporting documentation.
n
nnGain exposure to manufacturing cost accounting, including material costs, labor, overhead, variances, and product costing.
n
nnAssist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, spreadsheets, and management schedules.
n
nnPerform data analysis in Excel, including reconciliations, comparisons, trend analysis, and identification of unusual transactions or variances.

n nQualifications
nnnCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a recent graduate
n
nnStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
nnProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
n
nnHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
n
nnExcellent communication and organizational skills
n
nnAbility to handle confidential information professionally
n
nnEagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment
