nThe Role:
nMoore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Accounting team for the Summer of 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of accounting in a growing construction industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, develop valuable skills, and contribute to our continued success.
nResponsibilities:
nnnSupport our Accounting/Payroll Department while gaining valuable experience in accounting methods
n
nnWork with all staff in our Accounting/Payroll Department
n
nnLearn the entire accouting and payroll processes and gain experience in each step
n
nnWork with other internal departments on accounting/payroll needs
n
nnStrategize for events/items to maintain and boost team morale
n
nnInteract respectfully and productively with all types of people regardless of social or economic status
n
nnPrepare presentation for Leadership at the completion of the internship
n
n nQualifications:
nnnUndergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance
n
nnExcellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
n
nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills
n
nnAbility to work independently while maintaining a team-first mindset
n
nnDesire to learn and grow
n
nnTransportation and ability to commute to the Altavista Offices
n
nnGreat sense of humor
n
