n A Typical Day in the Life:
nAs an accounting intern, you will work alongside Honkamp team members by applying the skills learned in the classroom to real-world, business-impacting projects.
nResponsibilities may include:
nnnProcessing monthly accounts
n
nnPreparing bank reconciliations
n
nnPrepare state sales and use tax
n
nnPrepare annual 1099 and 1096
n
nnMaintaining client depreciation schedules
n
nnHandle all administrative tasks, as assigned
n
n nThis Role may be for You if You:
nnnAre considering a long-term career in public accounting and want exposure to the industry

nnDesire to grow professionally and develop your client service and technical skills

nnWant to demonstrate your performance and ability to potentially join Honkamp as a full-time employee

n nQualifications:
nCandidates should be pursuing a degree in accounting.
nSuccessful candidates will have:
nnnOutstanding academic performance

nnDemonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication and problem-solving

nnProficiency with Microsoft Programs
