Deerfield, IL (Hybrid) | $110K to $120K + 15% bonus
Our client is a growing, commercial-stage medical device company with a clinical pipeline. The finance team is lean, hands-on, and close to the business.
This seat owns the monthly close and leads the review of the team's work. You will also play a key part in a new ERP rollout next year.
What you'll own
Month-end close: fixed assets, accruals, AP
Inventory and cost accounting, including standard cost and variances
Review of journal entries, recs, and schedules
Coaching and developing staff
Audit support and PBC prep
Close and process improvements
Hands-on role in next year's ERP transition
What you bring
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
6+ years of accounting, with real inventory and cost accounting
Experience reviewing work and leading or coaching others
Strong systems skills (ERP and Excel)
Proactive, takes direction well, works across teams
Nice to have
Great Plains / Dynamics xhqgsiq GP
ERP implementation or migration
Medical device, pharma, or manufacturing background
Public company or audit-heavy setting
Details
Hybrid: 2 days a week in Deerfield, some flex
$110K to $120K base + 15% bonus
