Job description
Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Evergreen Park, IL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent/Direct Hire
Pay Range: $130,000 - $135,000 base salary plus 10% bonus

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
Maintain general ledger
Lead the annual external audit process
Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
Support inventory, fixed asset, accrual, and other accounting activities
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, including 3+ years in public accounting (audit preferred)

SAP or ERP experience preferred.
